AUDUBON — After several months at an Iowa hog operation, local pig No. 4287 confirmed Wednesday that he has begun to question whether the facility is actually the wellness retreat he initially believed it to be.
The hog said early amenities appeared promising, including climate-controlled accommodations, unlimited food and considerable opportunities for socialization. Concerns began mounting, however, after several longtime guests departed aboard a large truck and failed to return.
“I’ve asked around and nobody seems to know where Gary went,” the hog said. “They just keep telling me he was ready for market. I don’t know what spa that is.”
No. 4287 said he intends to remain optimistic.
